Wally R. Nawas
Dr. Wally Nawas grew up in Monroe, Louisiana. After graduating high school, he enlisted in the United States Air Force for four years. After his honorable discharge, Dr. Nawas obtained his Bachelor of Science degree from The University of Southern Mississippi where he received highest honors. He returned to Louisiana to attend medical school at Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center at Shreveport. He then completed a one-year Internal Medicine internship as well as a three-year Ophthalmology residency at LSUHSC-Shreveport. Dr. Nawas and his wife, Jennifer, reside in Bossier City. They have three children: Caroline; Jake; and Zach. Caroline is a 2008 graduate of Airline High School, a 2012 graduate of LSU Baton Rouge, and a 2014 graduate of UL. She and her husband, Joel live in Lafayette where Joel is an engineer and Caroline is the director of the Special Education College Program at UL. They have two sons, Max and Charlie. Jake is a 2012 graduate of Airline High School and lives in Nashville, Tennessee where he is pursuing a career in music - both writing and singing. Jake and his wife Ashton, an accountant, both love the Nashville area. Zach is a 2017 graduate of Airline High School and is currently attending Birmingham Southern College where he plays lacrosse and is pursuing a degree in Business. Dr. Nawas and his family love the Bossier area and look forward to their continued involvement in the community.

Sagar R. Desai
Dr. Sagar Desai grew up in Bossier City, Louisiana. After graduating high school, he obtained his Bachelor of Science degree from Louisiana State University. After spending 4 years in Baton Rouge, he moved to Memphis, Tennessee to obtain his Doctor of Optometry from Southern College of Optometry. He then completed his externships at Bond-Wroten Eye Clinic in Denham Springs, Louisiana and Willis Knighton Eye Institute in Shreveport, Louisiana.
